This Valentine’s Day, we’re highlighting some of the incredible Wildcat couples whose love stories began (or were rekindled) in our hometown.
Tammy & Mark Ransick (Class of ‘77 & ‘73)
"Mark and I were next-door neighbors for years before we ever started dating. We both walked the halls of Finneytown High School, but our story really began later in life. We reconnected, realizing that our shared history and love for this community made us the perfect match. Finneytown will always be where our roots are, and we love being part of the Wildcat legacy."
Chris Simpson & Katie Gates (Class of ‘11 & ‘11)
"We fell for each other in high school and have been together ever since! Some of our favorite memories include cheering on the Wildcats, hanging out with friends in the Commons, and just growing up together. Finneytown played such a big role in shaping our lives, and we’re proud to be part of this incredible alumni community."
Jo & Mike Morgan (Class of ‘75 & ‘71)
"We didn’t know each other in high school, but fate had other plans for us! Years after graduating, we met through mutual friends, and something just clicked. Looking back, it’s funny to think that we walked the same halls but didn’t cross paths in that way until later. Now, Finneytown is not just our hometown—it’s a part of our love story, too."
