This past weekend, the Finneytown Class of 1974 gathered to celebrate their 50th reunion, a milestone filled with nostalgia, laughter, and a renewed sense of connection. Despite the wet weather brought by Hurricane Helene, the class managed to make the best of it, with power restored just in time to host their much-anticipated Saturday night celebration at Clovernook Country Club.
Friday Night at HighGrain Brewing Co.
The weekend kicked off on Friday evening at HighGrain Brentwood, where classmates reconnected over craft brews and great conversation. The atmosphere was lively, filled with decades-old friendships being rekindled.
Saturday Tour of the Finneytown Secondary Campus
Saturday brought a nostalgic visit to the Finneytown Secondary Campus. For many, it was the first time back since their high school days. Touring the halls brought back countless memories of their time as students. The tour was a unique opportunity to see how much had changed and how much remained the same.
Saturday Night at Clovernook Country Club
The highlight of the weekend was the Saturday night celebration at Clovernook Country Club. Even though Hurricane Helene tried to put a damper on the event, power was restored just in time, and the party went off without a hitch. The evening was filled with heartfelt conversations, dancing, and a slideshow of memories from high school. Classmates shared stories of their journeys over the last 50 years and celebrated the legacy of the Class of 1974.
